Its forty acres of urban greenspace and recreational facilities provide ample space to gather, walk, run, and play. Park amenities include courts for tennis and basketball; fields for baseball, softball, soccer, and football; trails for walking and fitness; a bandshell; a playground; covered areas; grills; restrooms; and rental facilities.

Parking is available within the park and along its borders between Cherokee and 18th Avenues.
